Catamaran Overview

If your dream is a catamaran experience you are in the right place.

Enjoy the best places that the Sicilian sea has to offer

Alicudi

Yacht charter in Aeolie Islands

The island of Alicudi is the least populous of the Aeolian Islands. To compensate for this low population density there are extremely fishy waters and landscape scenarios of great variety and beauty.
the “Female Tipone”, a strong natural once used to hide women to protect them during the raids of the Saracen pirates
the volcano, now extinct, from which it is possible to admire the view and the sun setting over the Aeolian Islands and Sicily

Filicudi

When you arrive on the island of Filicudi you take a real step back in time. This island is not particularly touristy and offers traditional glimpses of fishing villages. The most evocative place on the island is, without a shadow of a doubt, the Grotta del Bue Marino: the silence and the incredible play of light take your breath away.

Lipari

The island of Lipari is the largest island of the archipelago. It is famous for its white expanses of pumice, a gift from the Monte Pelato volcano, and for obsidian, the black glass typical of volcanic areas. The main nerve center of the island is its Castle: inside it houses the famous Church of Santa Caterina and the Cathedral of San Bartolo.

Panarea

The island of Panarea is the smallest of the seven and the most ecological, its very characteristic village does not allow hydrocarbon vehicles.

The natural landscape of the island consists of four smaller islands that frame it:
Lisca Bianca
Lisca Nera
I Panarelli
Ants
To complete the incredible natural landscape there are the remains of a volcano that collapsed over the millennia.

Salina

The island of Salina is the second largest island after Lipari. Its particular name is dictated by the custom of extracting the salt for the conservation of fish and capers. And it is precisely the capers that make Salina famous internationally. The main peculiarity of the island is the presence of two volcanoes, almost twins:
Monte Fossa delle Felci, Monte dei Porri

Monte dei Porri

Finally, the island boasts a remarkable soil fertility, probably due to the coexistence of not one but two volcanoes in its ecosystem.
You can taste local culinary specialties, such as fig and almond granita or Pane Cunzado from the Aeolian Islands.

Stromboli

The island of Stromboli is characterized by a peculiar rounded shape. The homonymous volcano, from which the island takes its active name, is the only one still in Europe and one of the few in the world in permanent eruptive activity. This is why the island is called the “Lighthouse of the Tyrrhenian”. The Stromboli flows give life to a unique landscape in the world, the so-called Sciarra del Fuoco. Tracking lovers will be able to enjoy a climb to the volcano, a spectacular view at sunset, the descent will be at night

A few more stunning places you will visit

Volcano
The island of Vulcano, the ancient home of the god Hephaestus, is the southernmost island of the archipelago. As the name suggests, the island boasts four volcanoes:
Lentia
Volcano plan
Fossa di Vulcano
Vulcanello della Fossa
In addition to volcanoes, there are underground fumaroles. On this island, in addition to walks in the village, it is possible to visit the fumaroles and enjoy a breathtaking view. In addition, the island is equipped with restaurants and night clubs for nightlife, as well as spas to fully enjoy the resources of the still active volcanic subsoil.

We recommend dinner ashore and the first exploration of the island of Lipari, the largest of the Aeolian Islands. You will be impressed by its fascinating landscape! A stroll and dine in one of the quaint restaurants. We then return to the boat for the night that we will spend in the port.

Second day - Sunday

In the morning we set sail for the beaches of the Pumice: here you will find a close contact with the clearest sea of the Aeolian Islands that welcomes you for a long swim in its transparent waters. After lunch on board we leave for Panarea, the smallest of the Aeolian Islands but also the busiest and most frequented by tourists from different countries of the world.
Unmissable stop in Cala Junco, the most beautiful bay of the Aeolian Islands. You will be fascinated by the incredible colors that the sea takes on at this point, from emerald green to turquoise blue. We then enjoy an aperitif while we admire the sunset, a view that is difficult to forget! If, on the other hand, you are looking for a little fun, you can visit one of the trendy clubs that represent the nightlife of Panarea. Overnight at anchor in Cala Zimmari.

Third day - Monday

In the morning we head towards the Lisca Bianca rock. At the beginning of the last century the English merchant ship Llanishen struck precisely at this point and sank soon after. It is one of the most visible wrecks of the archipelago and the only one that can be visited. Do not miss a dip from the suggestive rocks of Dattilo and Bottaro.
After lunch, we start our journey to Stromboli. Here a memorable passage awaits you under the Sciarra di Fuoco, a steep slope that over time has been forged by lava. In the evening walk From the panoramic terrace of the restaurant, on top of the island, you will admire what you will ask as one of the most evocative sunsets you have ever seen. Sports enthusiasts can make the excursion to the volcano (afternoon departure and return at night). We will spend the night at anchor in San Bartolo or Fico Grande.

Fourth day - Tuesday

Immediately after a regenerating breakfast, we go to visit the rock of Strombolicchio, an island without water and formed by steep slopes overlooking the sea, and then we set sail for Salina. If you love trekking you will definitely love this island!
During this day we head first to Pollara for a dip in the crystal clear sea and then we have lunch on board the boat. In the afternoon, since the Aeolian Islands, all of Sicily in general, are synonymous with a cuisine of delicacies, known all over the world, we allow ourselves a dinner at the legendary Alfredo. Here you will have the opportunity to taste the famous Pane Cunzato or “seasoned bread”.
This simple dish embodies the flavor of Sicily: the sauce is based on anchovies, cherry tomatoes, primo sale, extra virgin olive oil and oregano. The handcrafted granitas are also exceptional. Overnight at anchor in Lingua or Santa Marina di Salina.

Fifth day - Wednesday

We leave early for Filicudi. As soon as we get closer to this island you will be able to feel the intense scents, typical of this land: lemons, figs, capers, magic for your senses!
After a nice relaxing bath in Capo Graziano, we indulge in an aperitif in Pecorini a Mare in an almost sacred place: the historic Saloon, meeting place for every sailor and sea dog. Here the topic is always the same and is debated in a thousand different ways: sailing! We spend the night at the port.

Sixth Day - Thursday

We dedicate the morning of the sixth day under full sail to Vulcan, seat of the Forges of Ephesus, god of fire, according to Greek mythology. Let’s take an unforgettable bath in the sulphurous waters of the island, perfect for regenerating body and spirit. Tonight the aperitif will be on the beach, then we will spend the night in the bay of Cala Ponente or Levante to fully enjoy the magic of this corner of paradise

Seventh day - Friday

If you think that a holiday in the Aeolian Islands on a sailing boat is just relaxation, you are wrong! In the program of the last day we thought of letting you experience a bit of adventure: we will start in search of the wildest coves of Vulcano. You will experience the thrill of immersing yourself in a pristine and solitary world, far from the usual paths.
In the evening we return to Lipari, after the aperitif we disembark by 18.00. See you on your next vacation! The indicator itinerary may be subject to variations based on the weather and sea conditions. For safety reasons, decide on the skipper.
